About the Journal

Advances in Social Sciences Research Journal (ASSRJ; ISSN 2055-0286) is an international, peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal published by Scholar Publishing, United Kingdom. Since 2013 it has published original theoretical and empirical scholarship from across the social sciences, offering researchers, educators, practitioners and policymakers a venue in which to communicate work that deepens understanding of individuals, groups, institutions, markets and societies.

The journal welcomes rigorous empirical, theoretical, conceptual, methodological and practice-informed research, and is especially interested in studies that connect sound scholarship with the social, economic, cultural and organisational questions that shape contemporary life. As a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ASSRJ follows the COPE Core Practices and observes the joint Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
