Publication schedule

ASSRJ publishes on a monthly basis, with articles assigned to the appropriate volume and issue. Any change to the schedule will be announced on the journal website and reflected consistently across author information, policies, indexing records and library metadata.

Language

Articles are published in English. Either British or American spelling and usage may be used, provided it is applied consistently throughout the manuscript.

Open-access model

ASSRJ is fully open access: published articles may be read, downloaded and shared immediately, without subscription or registration barriers. The complete copyright, licensing, reuse and self-archiving conditions are set out in the Open Access, Copyright & Licensing policy.

Peer review and editorial decisions

The journal operates single-blind peer review; manuscripts judged suitable after initial editorial assessment are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, as described in the Peer Review Policy. Editorial decisions rest on relevance to scope, originality, significance, methodological rigour, clarity, ethical compliance and the validity of the conclusions, and are never influenced by an author’s nationality, institution, seniority or ability to pay the Article Processing Charge. The Editor-in-Chief holds final authority, and the editorial team is listed under Editorial Team.

Persistent identifiers and charges

Published articles are assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) where applicable, providing a persistent link to the version of record for citation and sharing. Open access is supported by a one-time Article Processing Charge payable only after acceptance; the current amount and any waiver provisions are stated under For Authors.
