Physics

Physics is the natural science that studies matter,[a] its fundamental constituents, its motion and behavior through space and time, and the related entities of energy and force. Physics is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, and its main goal is to understand how the universe behaves.

Global Set Theory

Global Set Theory

Our reasoning is based on 2-valued logic. That is, we are convinced that a statement is either true or false. 2-valued logic is said to be the logic of the Absolute. The true (1) and the false (0) are expressions of the degree of truth, and called truth values. Truth values 1 and 0 form a complete Boolean lattice 2 with operations ∨, ∧, ¬ : 2 = ⟨ {1, 0} : ∧(and), ∨ : (or), ¬(not) ⟩ The logic represented by Boolean lattice is called a classical logic. Thus, we accept the law of excluded middle and distributive law as logical axioms. Classical set theory is developed by the classical logic with axioms which characterize ‘sets’. The whole sets forms the universe of set theory. A model V of the universe of classical set theory is constructed inductively from empty set ∅ by adding power sets of existing sets repeatedly : Vα = {u | ∃β ∈α(u:Vβ →2)}, V = ∪ α∈On Vα , where subset of Vβ is represented by 2-valued characteristic function, i.e. u ⊂ Vβ def ⇐⇒ u:Vβ →2. Mathematics, which is a language of science, is developed in the classical set theory.

This work aims to study the influence of the socio-educational environment on student performance. It seeks to identify the scope of the relationship between variables or dimensions of school climate and academic performance. From 227 students and 36 public and private high school educators and colleges from the city of Agboville, we assessed their perception with the multidimensional assessment scale of student well-being in schools by Guimard et al., (2014). Multivariate regression analysis and cross-tabulations of variables have elucidated the interactions between a person’s behaviors, individual characteristics, and the environment in which they evolve. The data collected showed that school performance depends on the feeling of security, the learning conditions, the state of the teacher- student relationship, the overall satisfaction of students and their well-being in the school environment. This study proves that the best academic results of learners are intimately linked to the establishment of a quality socio- educational environment.

Being and Existence: An Anthropocentric Metaphysics and Poetry

Being and Existence: An Anthropocentric Metaphysics and Poetry

Being and Existence is, in this work, examined from, unpopular combination of philosophical doctrines that would have, as western humanists had perceived them, remained disparate concepts in the world dominated by materialism, science and theory. Similarly, anthropocentric metaphysics is a voluptuous and amorphous amalgam of notions whose meanings are consistent and unified as a whole in the extent African cosmography but which in the Western philosophy are different schools and thoughts with often contradictory nuances and meanings. The basic keywords in his work, though of different histories, are therefore integrated into a whole here to answer to the pertinent question of being and Existence spanning from before life, to life-hereafter which burden explanation resides in anthropocentricism and metaphysics of life and death.

Cricket Reading Handbook

Cricket Reading Handbook

All over the world, there is extensive folklore and tradition associated with crickets. In Brazil, a black cricket in a room is said to foretell illness; a gray one, money; and a green one, hope while chirping is sometimes interpreted as a sign of imminent rain, a financial bonanza, pregnancy, or death. During the Spanish conquest of America, the sudden chirping of a cricket heralded the sighting of new land. The Chinese have practised cricket fighting as a sport for a long time. The Cherokee Indians believed that drinking tea made of crickets would make one a good singer. In Zambia, cricket is believed to bring good fortune to anyone who sees it. Among the Luos of Kenya it is believed that eating crickets improves one’s singing prowess. Crickets are known as nyenje in Kiswahili. In Luo language, they are referred to as Onjiri. Other local names include ngiriama in Meru, Egesiriri in Kisii, Sitsilili in Luhya, Ngiria in Kikuyu and Ngili in Kamba.

Language Research Methodology: Study Guide

Language Research Methodology: Study Guide

The word “research” is associated with scientific process and is tied up with writing a thesis or dissertation. It’s just that the term “research” is considered generic compared to “thesis” which sounds so academic. In layman’s term, when we do a research, we tend to go to some sources (tangible or intangible) to find a solution to a problem or to know more about a certain thing. We do some observations, readings, interviews, or even resort to something considered supernatural. We know that in the academe, we can’t begin our research without a problem. “My problem is that I do not have a problem” is always the problem of a student of a research course (Thesis Writing). How will you go about making a thesis outline if you’re not that interested to find one more problem “added to your cart” because you’ve got enough problems already? One more thing, you enrolled in this course because you’re required to do so for you to graduate, right? Because of this, you’re “forced” to find or make a statement of the problem to proceed then move on. First you gotta do is to convert the word “forced” to “inspired”. Some of you are into reading novels, blogs, or what is in the WattPad, I suppose. Of course, it’s a fact that writers couldn’t write if they don’t have something inside their heart (okay, head). You cannot share what you don’t have, remember that. Do you have something inside there to share to the universe? Granting that you have it, is it enough for you to proceed to writing your thesis outline? No? Of course, common sense dictates that writing a thesis outline is different from writing a novel or post a blog. That’s it, writing your thesis outline starts from being inspired to using your common sense and viceversa. If you don’t have any inspiration, make one. However, research writing is more than just dealing with common sense (this is basic, master it) and having an inspiration (find your strength in love). What then is it? It’s for you to discover. One thing for sure, you have to study about something essential so that you will have something to write in the “Significance of the Study” section in Chapter 1(Introduction). Since you’re dealing with something essential, you have to pass across borders. There you have it!

Forced to Green’ or ‘Willingness to Green’? Behaviours under Uncertainty of Quota Evidence from China’s Adoption of New Energy Vehicles

Forced to Green’ or ‘Willingness to Green’? Behaviours under Uncertainty of Quota Evidence from China’s Adoption of New Energy Vehicles

Regarding China’s studies, it can be categorized as classical studies, contemporary and interdisciplinary researches, but under the criticism of theoretical absence as an ‘area study’. This research relates to the social, environmental, political and economic policies, subconsciously, it is also affected by the philosophy and history for the decision made by the government and people, namely, in term of the macro-perspective, it covers the philosophy, history, social, politics, and the environment, economics, industry reform. More importantly, it integrates the macro with the microperspectives, digging into individuals’ decision under a micro-perspective, providing a comprehensive insight, where it not only has a big picture on the evolution process in the longitudinal historical spectrum, but also a micro-world on its own functional mechanism regarding the individuals’ decision making. Accordingly, it is an interdisciplinary research providing a micro insight of behaviours from the evidence of emerging industry of new energy vehicles.

Interatomic Interactions in the Structures of Intermetallic Compounds.: binary compounds

Interatomic Interactions in the Structures of Intermetallic Compounds.: binary compounds

Interaction is a mutual action that cannot be separated from the characteristics of the objects participating in the process. Interaction is a process that is characterized by a simultaneous mutual change in the characteristics of interacting material objects (in our case, atoms). These material objects (atoms) act on each other with different intensity, obeying certain laws, and reproduce new structures with high accuracy. Chemical bonding is a consequence of interatomic interactions. Interatomic interactions are accompanied by thermal effects and changes in the volumes of interacting objects. Reproductive structures indicate the existence of constitutional characteristics of interacting objects. One of these characteristics is the weight concentrated in nucleons, and the second is the volume formed by the electron clouds around the nucleons. During chemical interactions, the mass concentrated in nucleons remains unchanged, and the resulting volume changes, decreasing (most often) or increasing. By the relative change in volume, as well as by thermal effects, one can judge the intensity of the interaction. Changes in the structure without changing the chemical composition occurs due to changes in the vibrations of structural units and the dissipation of energy contained in the original system into the environment [1]. With an increase in temperature (an increase in energy content), the structures dissipate. With a decrease in temperature (decrease in energy content), energy dissipation occurs. Having a crystalline system with large crystals of only one phase, without changing the chemical composition, methods of pressure, forging, laser treatment can bring the system into a state with crushed and even amorphous parts [2]. The result is a system with a high stored energy content and a dissipated structure. The fundamental characteristic of a simple substance is the molar volume, which is the ratio of the molar mass of a substance (M g/mole) to its density (d g/cm3 ) Vm=M/d (cm3 /mole) [3]. Even Lothar Meyer [4] presented a graphical dependence of atomic volumes on the mass of an atom, which was successfully illustrated by the periodic law of D.I. Mendeleev. Density is a complex characteristic, representing the ratio of one unchanged constitutional quantity (mass) to another constitutional quantity (volume), which changes depending on the environment by other atoms [5, 6].

Serology of Vibrio Cholerae: Revisiting

Serology of Vibrio Cholerae: Revisiting

Cholera is a diarrheal syndrome of an infectious epidemic or pandemic nature. This syndrome expressed several epidemic and pandemic spread all over the world during sixties, seventies eighties and nineties of the twentieth century. Cholera caused by V. cholerae serotypes ,the known OI and non-OI serotypes. It seems to be that there were other entero-pathogen like entero-toxigenic Escherichia coli may express such diarrheal syndrome but with neither evident epidemicity nor form water diarrhea .The syndrome has been described as water and food born.It is considered as an enterotoxin induced in which the enterotoxin induce adenyl cyclase. The denyl cyclase in turn induced fluid accumulation in the affected patients gut leading to rice water diarrhea.Infected patient need ;fluid re-susstation ,quarantine and Tetracyclin R derivative therapy.Prove of V.cholerae pathogenicity in mice or other small animal mammals was through the application of the ligated ileal loop technic. The infection induced immunity may be antitoxic, anti-bacterial and vibriocidal antibody responses. Several vaccine makes are known to date that can be of use in facing the epidemic episodes in different world countries[ Holmgren 2021,Momba and Azab EL-Liethy 2017,Sakazaki et al 1970].

Alice and Bob in Quantumland

Alice and Bob in Quantumland

All the best stories begin with once upon a time. In science however, since time has a habit of speeding up, slowing down or even maybe going backwards locally, depending on how fast you are travelling, how much stuff surrounds you or your temperature; we will start at the beginning – wherever that is. Some time, long ago, Alice and Bob, two post-doc students, persuaded their friends Chloe and David to go for a ride in their black ford Anglia to nowhere in particular as long as it was a sunny day and they ended up on an enchanted island. All four were multi-disciplinary scientists in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmology, Geology, Material Science and heaven knows what other branches besides including neuroscience and psychology. “To begin with,” began Alice “the first thing to remember is that atoms and molecules – all the stuff we’re made of – and all the matter we know about like the Earth, planets, stars and galaxies are far more intelligent than human beings. They’ve been around so much longer than we have and they’ve learned so much more during that time.” “That’s why” said Bob agreeing with her “we as scientists need models of scientific theory to explain how things work and make predictions which can then be tested. This is where theories have to be modified, falsified or verified otherwise you end up saying something is just because it is and having arguments.” “Let’s have a look in more detail then about those atoms and the description of their structure” interjected Chloe warming to the conversation. David on the other hand remained silent. This was boring basic science and he dozed off though earwigging at the same time.

Qualitative study for schizophrenia patients and CBT

Qualitative study for schizophrenia patients and CBT

Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that impacts how a person acts, thinks, and perceives the world (Coyle, 2017). It is characterized by symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, disorganised speech, and diminished emotional expression (Shenton et al., 1992). The cause of these symptoms has been attributed to a dysregulation of dopaminergic signalling (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). Schizophrenia is considered amongst the top common disorders in the world (Mathers et al., 2006), as about 1% of the general population suffer from schizophrenia (Simeone et al., 2015). Schizophrenia generally appears in late teens or early adulthood. However, it may also appear in middle ages (Kirkbride et al., 2006). Generally, the early onset of schizophrenia is associated with severe positive and negative symptoms (Galletly et al., 2016). Schizophrenia was found to be more severe and more common in men than in women (Aleman et al., 2003; McGrath et al., 2008). Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder that can be managed effectively with due care and management principles, in addition to antipsychotics medications. However, the likelihood of recovery is the highest, when schizophrenia is diagnosed and treated at its onset (Galletly et al., 2016). With medications and non-pharmacological therapy, many individuals with schizophrenia can live independently and have a satisfactory life.
