all co-authors have read and approved the submission, and you have read the Ethics and Disclosures page.

How to submit

All submissions are made through the journal’s online system (Open Journal Systems). First-time authors register for a free account; returning authors log in. The corresponding author submits on behalf of all co-authors.

1Log in and start a new submission.
2Confirm the submission-preparation requirements and select the article type and section.
3Upload the manuscript and any supplementary data, code or files.
4Enter the metadata (title, abstract, keywords, all authors and ORCID iDs).
5Review and complete the submission; the corresponding author receives an acknowledgement.

After submission, the manuscript is checked for suitability and screened for originality before being sent for peer review.
