Discoveries in Agriculture and Food Sciences is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely and immediately available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
To support open-access publication, authors pay a one-time Article Publishing Charge after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been accepted.

The charge also contributes to the administrative cost of processing manuscripts that are reviewed but not accepted.
Payment
The Article Publishing Charge is payable only after acceptance. The corresponding or submitting author will receive an invoice and payment instructions by email. Payments are accepted in Pound Sterling (GBP) using the following methods:

| ✓ | Payment should normally be made within 5–10 business days of receiving the invoice. |
| ✓ | For wire transfers, the payer is responsible for all bank charges so that the journal receives the full invoiced amount. |
Important: Scholar Publishing does not authorise third parties to collect Article Publishing Charges.
Editorial independence
Payment of the Article Publishing Charge does not influence peer review or editorial decisions. Acceptance is based solely on the manuscript’s quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigour and compliance with the journal’s policies.
