The “free fall” of a heavy object, in a uniform gravitational field from h=10m and no initial velocity is discussed (in the local rotating system of Earth). Especially the deviation to the ‘’vertical line’’ is tried to be calculated which finally depends on what you define as a ‘’vertical line’’.
